Short one tonight. We drove back from Aylesbury tonight, arriving back just before 9pm. For some that’s prime blogging time, but I confess that all I wanted to do was eat and then watch the TV. Oops!

I ran earlier, though. I got lost taking a route from the centre of Aylesbury out past the playground that the children had enjoyed with the aim of reaching the canal. I went completely the wrong way. What was going to be a short between-parkruns jog, turned into a 4.5k route around the ring road. Done in about 28 minutes, so I was about the usual pace. I ran back uphill to the centre of town at the end of the run, which was hard work. But I survived. Yay!
