Today I’ve been pottering around with a heart monitor attached which was fitted this morning and will come off tomorrow at 10. It can’t come too soon, it’s a bit uncomfortable, especially during dance classes.
Besides pottering around with the monitor, there is little to report back on. I took my walk this morning on the way to the hospital. Weaving my way around the town to try and make up the 3km/30 minutes.
My plan had been to go for a run this afternoon, but I was told that I couldn’t take a shower once the monitor was stuck to me. I didn’t want to turn up at dance class all sweaty and stinky. Instead, I’ll be out first thing tomorrow morning out towards Edge Hill, around and then back to make up 5 miles. I’ll have the monitor on, but then I can take it off and grab a shower before returning it.
There’s little else to report. The rest of the day has been coding and cooking.
Day 70: 5.19 km walked to and from hospital plus 1km later to the garage to pick up the car.
In the absence of any words, this is the James video for Sometimes (Lester Piggott), because just sometimes, when I look deep in your eyes, I swear I can see your soul.
